8. We face a cumulative series of inter-locking problems which endanger human survival. Together they represent a global crisis. These problems may be looked at under the headings Justice, Peace and the Environment. Awareness is growing that they are urgent and related. Unless far-reaching changes are made, the crisis will intensify in the years ahead. What we fear as a crisis will become a real catastrophe for our children and grandchildren.
